Asian cuisine covers flavours from as far afield as Indonesia, China, Thailand and Vietnam, to name but a few. All of these countries have their own style of cooking and although these styles vary greatly, there are a number of ingredients that are commonly used across the region. The predominant styles are fresh, aromatic curries, fragrant rice and bread dishes and wonderful soups, stews and noodles.
As you would expect, spices are more prevalent than herbs, although coriander leaf, lemon grass and bay leaves all play a part.
