Coriander, also known as cilantro and Chinese parsley, is said to have originated in the East and is widely used in Asian and Middle Eastern cooking.
It adds a zesty flavour to soups, casseroles and curries and is also a great addition to breads, stuffing or salads. The aroma and flavour of dried coriander is released during the cooking process and becomes more intense, so please use carefully.
