Ginger has been a favourite spice for centuries and was first brought along the spice routes from the East for use in both sweet and savoury dishes.
Today we still use Ginger to add gentle heat to baked goods such as gingerbread, biscuits and cakes as well to give a perfect depth to dishes from India, Asia and North Africa.
Our Ginger has a wonderfully sweet, spicy aroma that is perfect whether being added to gingerbread or a Moroccan lamb tagine.
