A mix of meat, stuffing and a sprinkling of our delicious herbs makes this dish a favourite in my house, accompanied with mash potatoes and baked beans, warms to the tips of your toes.
Ingredients:
1 lb Minced Beef
1 cup Sage & Onion Stuffing
½ cup Milk
2 Eggs
Pepper & Salt
½ tsp Sage
1 tsp Parsley
1 Onion Chopped
Tomato Sauce (optional)
Method:
Soak stuffing in the milk
Beat eggs
Mix mince and dry ingredients together
Blend in stuffing and eggs
Shape into a well greased loaf tin
Cover top in Tomato Sauce (optional)
Bake in middle of oven at 150ºc (Gas 4) for 1 -1½ hours
Watch for burning.
Turn out and slice. Serve hot with new potatoes and vegetables of your choice, or cold with mixed salad and crusty bread.
